This clever shop won my heart rather quickly, though admittedly I AM a bit of chaser of authentic goods. Especially when it comes to certain tastes. Lately my cravings from my teen days in the late 70s sent me on A Cardamom Braid Hunt across the City! So far so DELIGHTFULLY good MY FRIENDS! This, my 3rd stop in the project, is outstanding! I'd to call ahead to be certain I was able to get another sought after dreamy treat (to me), THE Cardamom Knot. In my adoring opinion of Scandi/Danish Bakeri Also a traditional standard by especially for afternoons and late morning tea or coffee. I see more I'll be back for!
Ordered a bachelorette cake and theme was bridgerton I showed them the inspo cake and they did an amazing job! Tasting was also an amazing experience they gave us complimentary coffee, went over flavors, service was excellent! They will be making my bridal shower cake and I can’t wait to see! 😊
All the good words used to describe this bakery - a highlight of our trip. It was a short walk from our conference location (SPU), so we walked over for lunch. It was my favourite meal of the trip to Seattle. Staff were friendly and helpful; all food (savoury AND sweet) was delicious and fresh. AND, they're open till 5 most days, which is not generally the case for most bakeries. We were able to stop in 5 minutes before they closed and grabbed dessert on our way back from dinner. I miss this place already!
This is a very nice bakery that's an 11min drive from Green Lake. They have an awesome selection of breads, cakes and pastries to choose from. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is nice. They've also got stickers if you like to collect those for places you've been. And there is decent parking in the area along the streets. Highly recommend.
A friend wanted to share this bakery with me. Oh my goodness. So many wonderful things to choose from. I ordered a nonfat latte flavored with cardamom. Delicious! For food I ordered a ham and cheese puff, which was basically a roll filled with, you guessed it, ham and cheese. I also ordered a sweet pecan roll to have something sweet. The coffee was made to order and perfect. The ham and cheese was fresh, but maybe next time I’ll stick with sweet things. The sticky pecan roll had just the right amount of cinnamon and sweetness. Can’t wait to go back and try more sweet goods.

I'm always looking for a nice place to hangout and draw, I'm not from the area but this place is close to my partners house so I gave it a try and the pastries are AMAZING I love the chocolate croissants and the Danish, if I want a little more to eat I recommend the Monte Cristo, the coffee is great I normally get a super basic iced latte but it's great either way! The staff is super kind, Liz is who helps me most often and she is super sweet and makes great coffee. Vibes are great too, great place to hang out 10/10 always recommend this place to friends and family
Bye. Bakeri HAS THE best pastries in Seattle ... bar none. Their cream cheese danish is divine with a generous amount of cream cheese. The atmosphere is quiet and notably Scandinavian. It's a great place to just get a latte and a Danish.
I highly recommend visiting this place at least once if you want to eat just normal cookies like chocolate chip or peanut butter as well as if you would like to taste something very specific like marzipan pastries, semlor or white chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis. Thank you for bringing the rich traditions of Scandinavian baking to Seattle! You definitely made Seattle more special, unique and international! Also, always nice and friendly service!
Tastes like home! I grew up visiting Norway every other summer after we moved to the States, and these goodies brought me right back. Everything was delicious, but the standouts were the kransekake, princess cake, and skolebole. I'm so glad we were able to squeeze this place into our quick weekend visit! ❤️
